The launch of Google’s Bard, a weapon against Microsoft’s ChatGPT, is expected to be launched on 07th February 2023. It entered the industry within less than two weeks after Microsoft announced a multibillion-dollar investment into OpenAI.

ChatGPT bloomed quite some sensation in the industry with its ability to construct blogs, essays, poems or programming code effortlessly. It sparked the fear of cheating or risk of entire professions becoming obsolete. Previously, Microsoft announced that in partnership with OpenAI, ChatGPT features would be integrated in their app to its Office suite and Bing search engine. Obviously, the internet giant Google wasn’t about to sit quietly and enjoy having a compilation in its field.

Google soon came up with a solution and announced the launch of a conversational chatbot named Bard. It is based on LaMDA, the language of the firm Model for Dialogue Applications system. The CEO of Google, Sudar Pichai, said, “Bard seeks to combine the breadth of the world’s knowledge with the power, intelligence, and creativity of our large language models.” He added that Brad would collect relevant information from the website and construct a high-quality response against the queries. He also mentioned that Brad could provide the latest and most accurate responses, which ChatGPT cannot do.
